We want the best for the people in our care and we place great importance on outcomes and quality of life. We look at what can be achieved for each person, their abilities, interests and needs.

Located near central Croydon, Scott House can deliver a range of occupational therapy, personal care and support for residents who have a diagnosis of severe and enduring mental health needs.

Our approach

We aim to provide the greatest care and support to our residents to work towards a full and varied life, focusing on their mental health and physical well-being.

Our residents are supported to maintain their mental health through positive working with external agencies.

We aim to provide a homely environment because we recognise that our residents require a hands-on approach to care and support. Many of our residents rely on our caring staff team to provide personal care and ensure their dietary requirements are met sensitively.

Scott House promotes social inclusion with various activities, including positive safety management and risk reduction strategies. Residents will have an individualised support plan and a dedicated key worker to support them through their care.

Pathways:

Scott House has established a clear, proven pathway for people with long-term mental health concerns. We aim to help all our clients along a path that ultimately leads to them enjoying the same freedom, opportunities and everyday pleasures that most people take for granted.

We can offer support to people with mobility and other physical disabilities as well as complex personal care and support. We work in partnership with Local Commissioning Groups and professionals to ensure that our clients’ progress along their pathway is supported at every stage.

We are experienced in tailoring support for people with mental health conditions on their path to lead a full and varied life. We work with each person to identify and define their goals, to ensure we have a breadth of understanding of their life and aspirations, to be able to plan and agree support activities with them.
