Specialisms

The Group specialises in (Rehabilitation) Mental Health Care. However, we also offer other specialist care, including for Physical Health Disabilities as well as General Health Care.

Whatever the speciality, the Service User’s individual needs are of paramount importance. Whether it is for a new admission or in response to changes in an existing resident’s general or specific health, or mental health, the Home strives to accommodate and meet these needs. Staff are trained reactively, to give the personalised care package required for each person, using external agency input to facilitate as required. This may relate, for example, to making adaptations around a decline in a person’s mobility, or development of diabetes with a requirement for testing and monitoring of diet and blood levels. Each home maintains strong positive links with local GPs who can offer support, with district nurse input and referrals to Mental Health Teams as required.
